Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to the Mymail website, browser mail client, Windows application, Android application, and related email services (the “Service”) operated under mymail.krd.

Eligibility and accounts: You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service.

The Service: Mymail provides @mymail.krd email addresses and client software to send, receive, and manage mail. You can use Mymail in the browser (mymail.krd/mail), via the Windows app, and via the Android beta APK. Additional platforms may launch in later versions.

Acceptable use: You may not use the Service to send spam, malware, phishing, or unlawful content, or to interfere with the security or availability of the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Security and encryption: Connections between clients and our servers use HTTPS (TLS). Mailbox access uses encrypted IMAP/SMTP where supported. Account passwords are hashed; mailbox credentials are encrypted at rest. For @mymail.krd-to-@mymail.krd mail opened in Mymail (browser webmail, the Windows app, and the Android app), message bodies, subjects, and attachments are end-to-end encrypted on the device before send when encryption keys are available, so Mymail stores ciphertext for that content rather than readable plaintext. Pro and Business Cloud files in the Mymail suite are encrypted on the device with those same keys (including file names) before upload; the Contacts book and Calendar events are encrypted the same way. Mymail stores ciphertext and cannot read those files, contacts, or events. A password-wrapped private-key backup may be stored on our servers so you can restore keys on another device; Mymail cannot unlock that backup without your password. You may optionally set a separate Encryption password in Settings; if you forget it, older encrypted mail, Cloud files, Contacts, and Calendar may be unreadable. Mail to or from outside domains remains standard internet email (not end-to-end encrypted by Mymail). Delivery metadata such as addresses and timestamps is not end-to-end encrypted. End-to-end encryption is strong protection, not a guarantee that content can never be compromised. Optional App lock (PIN; biometrics on Android) protects access to the client on that device. In the browser and Windows app, App lock also PIN-wraps local encryption keys while locked. It is separate from mailbox encryption and is not required to open each encrypted message after unlock.

Email delivery: Email is sent and received using standard internet mail protocols (SMTP, IMAP). Messages to or from external providers may be visible to those providers and intermediaries along the delivery path.

Plans and billing: Free and paid plans may be offered with different storage, address, and domain limits. You manage plan and payment in the Account portal at mymail.krd/account (Stripe Checkout and Customer Portal when enabled). Cancelling a paid subscription stops future charges according to Stripe’s billing cycle; mailbox data remains subject to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Plan descriptions on the website describe current tiers.

Beta software: Early access builds may change, break, or be interrupted while we improve the Service. Do not rely on the beta alone for critical mail without backups.

Service changes: We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability: The Service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages to the extent permitted by law.
