Frequently asked questions

What is Mymail?

Mymail is an email service. You create an @mymail.krd address and use it in the browser suite at mymail.krd/mail (Mail, Cloud, Calendar, and Contacts), in the Windows app, or in the Android beta app.

How do I get an email address?

Create an account on this website. Pick a username and password — you receive you@mymail.krd immediately. Add a recovery email in Settings so you can reset your password later.

Where do I read my mail?

Open https://mymail.krd/mail/ in any modern browser with the same account. Use the left rail for Cloud, Calendar, and Contacts. You can also install the Windows app or the Android beta APK from the Download page.

Where do I download the apps?

From the Download page on this site: Windows installer (and a portable .exe), plus a direct Android APK for the beta. Google Play comes later when the product is fully launch-ready.

Is there an iPhone app?

Not yet as a native App Store build. On iPhone, open https://mymail.krd/mail/ in Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen. That gives a standalone Mymail icon with the same @mymail.krd account. A native iOS app may come later.

Do I need a PC app?

Optional. You can use Mymail in the browser at https://mymail.krd/mail/ with no install, or download the Windows app from the Download page for a desktop shell with the same account, App lock, and encrypted Mymail mail.

How do I reset my password?

Add and verify a recovery email in Settings (a different inbox such as Gmail or Outlook). Then use Forgot password on the sign-in screen. Codes are sent to that recovery address, not to your @mymail.krd inbox.

What can I do in Mymail today?

Read and send mail; manage Inbox/Sent/Archive/Spam/Drafts; attach files; on Pro and Business use encrypted Cloud, Calendar, and Contacts (file names, file contents, events, and the address book encrypt on your device); pick contacts while composing from the decrypted book; edit PDFs opened from Cloud; use multiple @mymail.krd accounts; spam tools; recovery email / Forgot password; App lock PIN (browser, Windows, and Android — biometrics on Android); (on Android) push notifications. Mymail→Mymail mail encrypts body, subject, and attachments when keys are available. Optional Encryption password and key fingerprint live in Settings. See How it works for step-by-step use.

How do I open Cloud, Calendar, or Contacts?

Sign in at https://mymail.krd/mail/ and use the left suite rail: Mail, Cloud, Calendar, Contacts, or PDF. Encrypted Cloud, Calendar, and Contacts are included with Pro and Business.

What does end-to-end encryption mean for you?

For @mymail.krd → @mymail.krd mail in Mymail (browser, Windows, and Android), the message body, subject, and attachments are encrypted on your device before send. Mymail stores ciphertext for that content — not readable plaintext. Pro/Business Cloud files (and their names), the Contacts book, and Calendar events use the same encryption keys as mail: encrypted on your device before upload, so Mymail cannot read them. Mail to or from outside domains (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) stays standard internet email. Your private key stays on your device; a password-locked backup on our servers lets you restore keys elsewhere. By default that backup uses your account password; you can opt into a separate Encryption password in Settings (if you forget it, old encrypted mail, Cloud files, Contacts, and Calendar may be unreadable). Want a PIN on this device? Use App lock — on browser/Windows it also PIN-wraps local keys when locked; encrypted mail does not add a second fingerprint gate every time you open a message. Settings can show a key fingerprint (a short code of your public key) so you can compare with someone in person or on a call. Signing out removes local keys for that address from this device. This is strong protection for Mymail-to-Mymail content and Pro/Business Cloud, Contacts, and Calendar, not a claim that nothing can ever be broken.

Is my mail end-to-end encrypted?

Connections use HTTPS/TLS. For @mymail.krd → @mymail.krd mail in the browser, Windows app, and Android app, message bodies, subjects, and attachments are end-to-end encrypted when keys are available — the server stores ciphertext. Mail to or from outside domains stays standard email. See “What does end-to-end encryption mean for you?” for limits, backups, App lock, and fingerprints.

Where do I manage my plan and billing?

Open https://mymail.krd/account/ with the same email and password. There you can see your plan, upgrade or manage billing (Stripe), add addresses (on higher plans), and set up custom domains (Pro/Business). Free includes one @mymail.krd address.

What is the difference between employee seats and business aliases?

On Pro and Business, plan limits count employee mailboxes (real people such as john@yourdomain.com). When you connect a custom domain, Mymail also includes a fixed set of business aliases (for example support@, billing@, info@, sales@). Those aliases do not use an employee seat. Admins assign each alias in the dashboard; the employee signs in with their own account and can switch to the alias without adding it separately. You cannot create new aliases yourself — contact support@mymail.krd if you need a change. Storage on Pro and Business is one shared pool for the organization. See Pricing and the Roadmap for details.

How do I contact support?

Email support@mymail.krd or use the Contact page. You can also open Support inside the Account portal. Please avoid sending sensitive content you do not want shared.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Contact support@mymail.krd to request account deletion. We will help where applicable under our Privacy Policy. Paid subscriptions can be cancelled in Account → Billing (Stripe customer portal).
